Tokyo Kawaii TV uncovered the secrets to SNSD’s flawless legs
A Japanese TV show recently talked about the secrets behind SNSD’s beautiful legs.
On the ‘Secrets of Beautiful Legs‘ section which is a part of Japan’s ‘Tokyo Kawaii TV‘ program aired on January 22nd, the crews of the show flew directly to Korea to uncover the secrets behind SNSD’s flawless legs. They believed that one of the secrets is the skinny jeans that the girls wore during ‘Gee’ promotion. According to them, the skinny jeans made their slim legs more attractive.
To obtain more information, ‘Tokyo Kawaii TV’ also visited SNSD members’ personal trainer, Mr. Kim at a health club to find out the type of exercises the girls have gone through. Trainer Kim said, “In the beginning, SNSD members’ bodies were not in such good shapes then. However, due to their high determination and tremendous effort in working out, the fruits of their labor seemed to be appearing now”. He added, “SNSD members’ leg lines were emphasized by their hip lines. Hip line is important”, stressing the importance of both the work-outs for legs and hips, which SNSD members had been introduced to.
Japanese netizens who watched the show commented, “It seems that the hip is the secret to beautiful legs”, “SNSD members are really pretty”, “They have different charms from Japanese idols” and “In Japan, it seems that people only seem to keep focusing on the members’ legs. I feel bad for them”.

SNSD and TVXQ to perform on Music Station
SNSD will be making their debut performance for Japanese version of ‘Run Devil Run‘ on Asahi TV’s ‘Music Station‘ on January 28th. Besides SNSD, Canadian female rock star, Avril Lavigne was also invited to the show where she will be performing her latest song, ‘What The Hell’.
To bring more excitement to the show, there has been a new addition to the list of performers. According to Japanese daily, Sankei Sports on January 24th, TVXQ will also be on ‘Music Station’, gracing the stage with their latest song ‘Why’. This is their first TV performance in Japan since TVXQ’s comeback.

Japanese fans would spend 10 times more to watch SM Town Live in Tokyo concert
As reported earlier, more than 400,000 ticket purchase applications were received for ‘SM Town Live in Tokyo’ concert which will be held at the National Yoyogi Stadium in Tokyo on January 25th and 26th. The no. of applications received is about 17 times the the capacity that the stadium could accommodate for the 2-day concert.
As the concert draws nearer, the desperation to get the tickets sky rocketed. Fans who did not manage to get the tickets have turned to bidding sites and thus, the bidding battle started. On Japanese bidding sites, the ‘SM Town Live in Tokyo’ concert tickets priced at 26,500 yen (358,974 Won or ~US$321) went up almost 10 fold on the final bid to a whopping 254,000 Yen (3,340,734 Won or ~US$3,072). There were fierce competitions among bidders even though the bidding price have gone up multiple folds from the original price. Such is the craze among Japanese fans to catch a glimpse of their idols such as SNSD, Super Junior, SHINee, TVXQ, BoA, etc at the ‘SM Town Live in Tokyo’ concert.
Conclusion: To watch a concert in Japan, you need lots of luck and money.

Taeyeon gave her two cents about Korean Wave on SBS news
On January 22nd, SBS news reported on the ‘Digital Korean Wave‘ which is spreading far and wide beyond Asia.
Some of the featured video clips covered in the news include:
- Participants of a Brazilian beauty pageant last year dancing to Wonder Girls’ ‘Nobody’.
- Hundreds on Filipino inmates dancing to Super Junior’s ‘Sorry Sorry’.
- Female students in Chile performed a cover of SNSD‘s ‘Oh!‘ dance.
- Hundreds on Filipino inmates dancing to Super Junior’s ‘Sorry Sorry’.
- Female students in Chile performed a cover of SNSD‘s ‘Oh!‘ dance.
Kpop music videos are also being downloaded and viewed, even in countries with unfamiliar names such as Moldova, Malta, Mauritius, etc.
Google’s chairman, Seo Hwangwook said, “If the contents are good, many people around the world would see them. Since boundaries have no significance in this case, the Korean wave will spread far and wide”.
In the news, Taeyeon was also featured. The leader commented, “‘Please come and perform in our country’ – there have been a lot of such requests and so, our members too want to go overseas and meet our fans there”.

Longer teaser of SNSD’s Japanese ‘Run Devil Run’ revealed
The nine ladies of SNSD are set to return with their ‘dark concept’ for ‘Run Devil Run’ with their upcoming Japanese digital release on January 25th. Earlier in the week, a 30 second sample of the track was released and now a longer teaser has been released.
This teaser was actually edited by TheSoneSource19 on youtube from the various teasers that have already been released. It features Sunny’s Japanese rapping which is excellent. Check out the teaser below.
The girls will perform this track on the January 28th edition of TV Asahi’s Music Station.

How Long Will SoShi Last!?
Lee Moonsae gave a thumbs up to girl group SNSD for their teamwork.
On Lee Moonsae's MBC FM4U radio show, "Lee Moonsae's Good Morning", SNSD's Tiffany and Sunny, as well as Yoon Dohyun from YB Band were invited as guests.
On the show, Lee Moonsae asked, "After having to manage your physical appearance and your bodies, don't the members start to compete with each other?" Tiffany and Sunny both answered, "It's not like that." Tiffany said, "Just last night at midnight, we ordered pizza and ate it all together," and added, "When we are on diets, we really do it properly so we encourage each other."
On this, Lee Moonsae joked, "Being overweight isn't a violation of your contracts, is it?" But after that he added, "I think SNSD will go a really long time."
At this remark, fans who were listening to the radio felt sorry for Kara as they were reminded of the current situation with their company.
